Sports Dog Conditioning

Strength, Stability & Injury Reduction for Canine Athletes

Whether your dog competes in agility, flyball, hoopers, obedience, or any other canine sport, your dog is an athlete, and just like human competitors, conditioning is the key to enhancing performance, reducing risk of injury, and ensuring long-term mobility.

*Please note: food is used in these sessions. Some will be provided, but please feel free to bring treats your dog enjoys.

Why Conditioning Matters for Sports Dogs

🐾 Reducing Risk Of Injury – High-impact sports put stress on joints and muscles. Improved body awareness combined with strengthening key muscle groups reduces risk of sprains and strains.

🔥 Improved Performance – A strong, well-conditioned body enables smoother turns, tighter control, and better endurance, helping your dog shave seconds off their runs and stay competitive longer.

💪 Core Strength & Balance – Stability and coordination are crucial for navigating weaves, sharp turns, and fast take-offs and landings. Strong core muscles mean better control and support for their limbs.

🏆 Longevity in Sport – Conditioning helps extend your dog's sporting career, keeping them healthy and comfortable so they can enjoy the sport they love for years to come.
